Title III Program Coordinator

The Program Coordinator will report directly to the Title III Program Director.

The Program Coordinator will have an essential role in supporting Title III project

implementation, assist in maintaining accurate records of performance, and prepare project

reports.

 

Essential Functions

• Write and/or assist in creation of project proposals

• Coordinate and collaborate on newly created and existing projects

• Assist with creation and facilitation of workshops for First Year students

• Prepare reports related to ongoing Title III projects

• Maintain Title III SharePoint page

• Build rapport and communicate with key internal and external stakeholders

• Consult on design and implementation for Title III and retention activity initiatives

• Maintain a close coordination and collaboration with individual departments/schools

• Participate fully within the university community, provide consultation, training, and

outreach to students, faculty, and staff when necessary

• Stay abreast of changing institutional information including new programs, course

changes, important dates, costs, and updates in university-wide initiatives and policies

• Other duties as assigned

• Possess strong organizational and verbal and written communication skills

• Demonstrate leadership and interpersonal communication skills

• Represent and promote the university in a competitive environment

• Pay strong attention to detail

• Have skill at connecting and building rapport with students

 

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required, Master’s degree preferred

• At least three years’ experience with grant writing or grant program management,

preferably in a higher education setting

• Fluency in MS Office (Word, Excel)

• Experience with educational or office technologies

• Willingness to collaborate with diverse departments and college constituents
